The putt that started Justin Thomas on his route to victory this past Sunday took 10 seconds to drop in.  Thomas hit the putt and it lipped the hole and seemed to have a small portion over the cup.  He looked away thinking it was a miss but Jim Nance, TV commentator, called it correctly with a “Hello Birdie.”  I’ve never seen this ever happen before in a professional event let alone the PGA Championship.
