I usually have never used the site to market things before but I’m making an exception for The First Tee of Silicon Valley.  The First Tee is holding a raffle for a package to see the first two practice days at the 2019 Masters.  The package includes lodging, food, transportation to and from Augusta National and a $1,000 credit for air travel.  As many of you are probably aware, The First Tee creates a venue for youth to develop and augment values and character outside the home using golf as the medium for the experience.  It’s a terrific package for a terrific cause.  Many of us are aware of The First Tee’s programs and activities and are ardent supporters of their activities.  Thanks to First Tee board member, Steve Almassy, for his generosity at sponsoring the raffle.  The tickets for the raffle are $100 but Steve will offer 3 tickets for $250.

I’m in Europe and will miss the Tour Championship at East Lake and most of the Ryder Cup as well but both events will be taped in the Bronson household.  I’m in Ireland currently and will have some time to play this week on two private courses here in the wind but no rain.

I’m sure many of us are pulling for Tiger to win at East Lake after eagling the 18th hole yesterday and is currently in first place alone at 6 under par and 1 under for the day.  I’m sure it will be an exciting conclusion to the season especially if Tiger can win it.
